The purest version of the so-called “early cars”! Finished in September 1961, this E type is the 59th left-hand drive coupé produced.

Purchased in the United States, where it was sold new, it was imported into Italy in 2021. We know of its American history that from New York it went first in 1963 to Kansas City in Missouri and subsequently in 1978 to California where it remained until 2021. It has been completely restored maintaining as much as possible the originality of all the details that distinguish it from subsequent versions: the matching painting of the front headlight scoop, the squarer fuel door, the engine head in the classic pumpkin color, the front glove holder in fiberglass and many other details that make it special.

The engine and gearbox numbers correspond to the originals reported on the Heritage certificate, as well as the colors are the original “cream” exterior and “black” interior

It still has the tool bag along with the rare jack that came with it.

The restoration was documented by more than 500 photographs and the various expenses are all confirmed by the invoices.

The car has only driven a few km of tests after the restoration, it has Italian plates and registration document.

Certainly one of the most important collectible E type coupes.
