AUSTIN HEALEY
100/4 BN/2
The Austin Healey 100 BN2 was produced from August 1955 until July 1956 in 3,964 examples and differs from the BN1 version only in the 4-speed gearbox compared to the 3-speed of its predecessor. 640 examples of the 100 M were also produced, cars equipped with an upgrading kit derived from the car that competed in the 1955 Le Mans 24 Hours. In this car, which was sold new in ‘standard’ trim. the bonnet with grilles, the belt on the bonnet itself, and the exhaust with a side exit, just like those that came out in ‘M’ trim, were fitted. The ‘old English white/black’ colour scheme is the original one, as is the engine, the data plate and most of the components. The car has been fully restored, with ample photographic documentation available, and is ready to be road tested, has American title and regular customs clearance for Europe. It is visible at our showroom and available for any test drive.
