The story of this E type begins, like so many others, in the USA: sold new by the New York dealer, it was delivered on 22 May 1963 to first owner O.M. Halleran from Wheaton, Illinois.

It was ordered in the distinctive and attractive ‘triple black’ colour scheme, together with a hardtop in the same colour.

The history of the subsequent years is unknown, but when the car arrived in Europe in 2022, its condition and originality were almost perfect.

The car was completely disassembled and restored in every part between 2023 and 2025, has all matching numbers and has already been road tested.

It has US documents and a regular import bill.
