The latest version of the Jaguar XK, called the 150, is easily distinguished from the previous 120 and 140 models by its single-piece windshield, replacing the split one of the earlier versions. This car was offered to the public in three versions: the coupé with closed bodywork FHC (Fixed Head Coupé), the 3-seater cabriolet called DHC (Drop Head Coupé), and the roadster called OTS (Open Two-Seater), featuring only two front seats and none in the rear. This left enough space for the soft top, when open, to be fully housed in the compartment, giving the car a cleaner look.

This car was originally ordered new and sold on September 2, 1958, in New York, in the most powerful version available, the S. In fact, 3 carburetors were installed instead of the standard 2, along with a modified cylinder head, which increased the engine power from 193hp in the standard version to 253hp in the S.

At the end of the 1990s, it was imported to Europe, where it was restored between 2005 and 2007 by a collector from Northern Italy. It changed hands to another enthusiast around 2008, who only used it for a couple of years. Unused since 2010, it was put back into operation in 2024 and is now in excellent condition. The color scheme is period-correct but not the original it was sold in, which was black with a black interior and red piping, along with a “gunmetal” top. Italian registration, ASI and FIVA certificates are present.

Price: 125,000.
